How To Take Screenshot on a Mac - Using the Print Screen function will allow you to take a screenshot of your entire screen, part of your screen, or even of just one open window. But Print Screen (PrtScn might have been abbreviated differently on your mac keyboard. If you want to know how to use the Print Screen function, just follow these steps.

  1. Capturing from a selected application window:
    1. Press the Apple key ⌘ + Shift + 4 all at the same time.
    2. You will see the cursor change to +
    3. Press the spacebar.
    4. The cursor will change to a camera. Simply click on the window you want to be captured.
    5. Again the capture of the screen will be on your desktop labelled 'Picture _'
